My friend, Simon Littler, showed me these photgraphs some time ago which his Granfather, Leonard 'Johnny' Walker took during his fire service days. Simon also mentioned that his Grandfather was involved in the developement of Halon type fire extinguisher for which he was awarded an MBE.17/7/06 Just heard that some more photos have been located & will be added soon!
