RAF Conningsby. I spent a bit of time tracking this vehicle down, as with it's white tropical roof, it is a bit different to the normal version. I was at Conningsby Fire Section, but they thought it had gone... On my way out, a bit of snooping found me looking at it in the 'vehicles going for disposal' compound, and here we are. Phew. An ex Ascension truck I believe? *

Rear view. I like this truck a lot. I always preferred the original type of crash grill, and the livery of this one is in my opinion, particularly striking. Not OTT like some of them and with perhaps a hint of The Red Arrows about it ?!

RAF Lossiemouth. Unsure which of their two TACR's this one is, and this multi lingual 'FOLLOW ME' board, was often fitted during TACEVAL exercises. One of the duties of the TACR would have been to sheperd defecting military aircraft to a secure holding area.

Parked in one of the Harrier Hides at Wittering. I tried several times to take 'Tactical' photographs of TACR's and Harriers, in the field, but for one reason or another it never quite happened. I regret this very much, and for now, this the best picture I have along these lines...
