CPC 964Y. Although not used in great numbers by the Fire Service, Range Rovers have been pressed into service in a few areas. This machine was used at Shoreham Airport for a time.

Guernsey unit 21. Guernsey has always been a user of Land Rover products. This is a very smart looking command vehicle.

Royal Jordanian Air Force ground to air communication vehicle. They have 5 of these Range Rovers, but it is not known if they are local conversions or UK built. LRM.

The blades on the roof are the antenna and the grilles in the roof front for the aircon. Communications officer sits in rear.LRM.

Now here's an interesting vehicle.45AJ49 An RAF Ceremonial vehicle. In amazing condition. Obviously not seen much use and been well cosseted.

Shown as being allocated to RAF Rudloe Manor. Which if you've never heard of it is well worth looking up on the internet!

It arrived at Gaydon (for the Heritage Run) with all its lights under covers but those were soon removed ready for the road run.

The current owner has done a good job of returning it to its in service spec.

This Wadham Stringer bodied ambulance looks to me the same type as used by the Royal Navy. This one was in fact built for Wiltshire Ambulance Service in 1985.

The interior looks as immaculate as the outside and is a real credit to its current owner Daniel Claridge.

This machine is a twin to Daniel's but has been converted into a camper, however the current owner has retained some of the parts if you would like to convert it back!

This Spencer Abbott bodied ambulance was built for Leicestershire Authority then spent 8 years with St.John before moving to Sussex Rescue and is now with Ambulance Aid who were tying to sell it when this picture was taken.

The interior is fairly well kitted out but the bodywork has some damage at the rear and it needs two new front doors and probably a bonnet. Price was reasonable 'though.
