This is the Mumbles brand new (2014) Tamar class lifeboat Roy Barker IV. The £2.7 million boat is housed in a brand new £9.5 million lifeboat house and slipway, purpose built at the end of the Mumbles pier. This is the very latest class of RNLI boat capable of 25knots and packed full of the latest electronic gear.
