ATC Lasham
Lasham airfield was built in 1942 as an RAF base and decommissioned at the end of the Second World War. In 1954 Dan-Air, the famous airline who began with a single aircraft, founded its sister company Dan-Air Engineering and used Lasham airfield for servicing and maintaining their aircraft fleet plus aircraft belonging to other operators.
ATC (Air Tool Company Limited) was incorporated in 1995 three years after Dan Air was sold to British Airways.
Today ATC is the UK’s leading independent aircraft maintenance provider. The company offers scheduled and unscheduled heavy maintenance for the Boeing and the Airbus families of aircraft from Lasham and additional facilites at London-Southend Airport.
