Six wheeled private ambulance

Here is something a little different - and on six wheels? At Amdac Carmichael in October 2011 was this former Essex Fire & Rescue Service Pinzgauer/Carmichael L6P which had been converted to a non emergency PTS ambulance for a local company. The Pinzgauer has had the pump, tank and all the internal/external fittings removed. The rear of the body; plus the external lockers have been lined with easily cleaned plastic surfaces and the floor finished with a non slip coating. Believe it or not the ambulance also carries a full size Ferno stretcher, which is lowered via two removable ramps; and stowed with the asistance of an electric winch. Access to the rear of the body is via a hinged flat.
A very unusual 6x6 vehicle - exclusive to this site.
