Bodmin Airfield
Bodmin Airfield is situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall, just off the main A30 London-Penzance dual carriageway. Bodmin Airfield was constructed by a very famous local business man Mike Robertson founder of the Southwest superstore chain "Trago Mills". His dream was to make aviation available to everyone. In pursuit of this dream, local engineers, the Dingle Brothers were commissioned to construct the airfield on what was once Treswithick Farm. Since 1972, the airfield which has one serviceable runway has been operated by the Cornwall Flying Club Ltd.
