This 1965 registered Land Rover series IIA fire-tender is still fully operational at Perrenporth Airfield. It really is in amazing condition for 48 years of age! I could not see any identification plates to clarify if the fire-engineering was completed by a specialist company but the tender is fully fitted out with a fixed pump; water tank plus additional fire-fighting equipment. The tender is garaged overnight.
