Highlands & Islands Airports "T" 4x4 crash tenders

In Summer 2012 state owned Highlands & Islands Airports in Scotland placed an order with the Iturri Group in Spain for the staggered delivery of 20 x Iturri "T" airport crash tenders (which are a combination of 19 x 4x4 variants + 1 x 6x6 example). The new airport crash tenders will replace the operators varied fleet of Simon Gloster Saro "Protector" based crash tenders.
Highland & Island Airports have eleven airports located at Barra, Benbecula, Campbeltown, Dundee, Inverness, Islay, Kirkwall, Stornoway Sumburgh, Tiree and Wick.
The first example destined for Bebencula Airport was accepted by the customer and shipped to the UK in November 2013.
