RG95AA

RG95AA is currently the only Alvis RIV at RAF Ascension Island. It is specifically used as a domestic appliance to provide cover to the Travellers Hill accommodation area four miles away from the airfield. When the fire-fighters are not at the airfield the appliance is kept on camp to provide 24 hour fire- cover via a pager call out arrangement. At some point in the future the RIV will be replaced by a more suitable domestic fire appliance.
