    A review about Thomas' 2nd book: 600 pictures on 120 pages; from the ALVIS 6x6, USAF crash trucks of the 1950-'60 years, up to the brand new engines from Iveco, Lentner/KME Oshkosh, Rosenbauer and Ziegler. Not only Fotos, also drawings and comercial brochures.

    In 20 chapters You can find lots of pictures of historic value, also lost of exotic appliances like tracked or (semi-)armoured vehicles and boats. A big chapter contains the development of the Rosenbauer airport-appliances from the 1970s to the 1st SIMBA.

    Unfortunately the book suffers from writing- and formating-errors (not Your problem - the book is on German). Nevertheless it is a must for every ARFF-Insider because zhe pictures.
    A 3rd book is anounced.
