In April 2012 Mount Pleasant Airfield had 5 x Carmichael MFV 2 crash tenders at their disposal and this Alvis RIV.

    Soren on the day we landed at MPA there was still a foot of snow lying on the ground; and sadly for the remainder of our visit as you can see from the few images that I did take it was pretty wet and cold. MPA were running 4 x MFV2 appliances from the air-side fire-station while we were their and a fifth was in MT awaiting spares. The RIV was stored in a hangar and to clean to have been used any time recently.
