Meteor light foam tender

This Gloster Saro "Meteor" light foam tender started life with the British Airports Authority. It was disposed of to Highland & Islands Airports Limited who retained the tender as a driver training vehicle at Inverness Airport. In 2009 the tender was sold on to Fire Vehicle Services. They refurbished the truck and modified it with the addition of a full monitor platform and a manually operated roof mounted monitor for its new owner the Lands End Airport Fire and Rescue Service. It was a direct replacement for their TACR II.
