Petrochina F450

Amdac Carmichael Limited have supplied this highly spec'd aerodrome rapid intervention vehicle/rescue tender as part of a multi-vehicle contract with Petrochina - Halfaya Fire & Rescue Service in Asia. This stunning aerodrome fire and rescue vehicle is based on an American Ford F450 Superduty 4x4 chassis featuring a 6.7 litre 300 hp diesel engine. The polyprop body features a 1,200 litre water tank, 150 litre foam tank + 120 kg of “Purple K” dry powder courtesy of Perren Engineering Limited. The F450 features a Godiva pump and a joystick controlled Akron Firefox 1200 lpm roof mounted monitor. This dual role fire-tender features a Warn 16.5 Ti (16,500 lbs) front mounted winch and it carries various fire-fighting and crash rescue apparatus which includes Halmatro hydraulic rescue equipment & air-bags.
