I have 'borrowed' this picture from Steve's album to show what became of D403.(Thanks Steve) I heard a story that the driver was killed, is that true?

    No he wasnt, but was badly hurt The driver and crews from Weymouth and Bere Regis attended,,,The accident happened at a place called Waddock Cross just west of Bovington army camp when the crew went straight across a crossroad and were hit side on by a fully loaded 17 tonne tipper.
