RAF Germany (I believe Laarbruch.) Tornado crash, just off base, and you can make out the Airfield in the background. TACR2 in attendance, along with 1-tonne Crash Ambulance, and local authority truck. The heavier Crash Trucks have probably returned to base, but you can see where they were deployed to, by the tyre marks and the foam they dumped on the wreckage...

    Steve you have some great albums. This certainly was just off Laarbruchs runway, The 1 tonne was quite rare in being used as a crash ambulance. I went in charge of an engineering party to errect floodlights for the crash guard as the Tonker was still classified in those days TTFN
